Last reviewed October 10, 2026

Quick answerDocumint Silver is $49 a month for 200 documents on monthly billing. On that basis CraftMyPDF Lite is $29 for 1,200 PDFs and APITemplate.io PDF Basic $24 for 3,000; for Word templates, DocuGenerate Plus is $19.

Documint alternative: the short answer and the price table

Five Documint alternatives with public US dollar prices on monthly billing are CraftMyPDF, APITemplate.io, DocuGenerate, Docupilot and DocSpring. Documint's own entry plan, Silver, is $49 a month for 200 documents a month, as read on October 10, 2026. Gold is $149 for 1,000 documents and Platinum $299 for 5,000, both on monthly billing.

Documint's page opens on its annual view, where Silver is $39 a month billed annually for 2,400 documents a year. This page uses Documint's Monthly tab, so every price in the table is a monthly-billing price. Extra documents on Silver come in packs of 100 for $24.50 a month.

CraftMyPDF and APITemplate.io: more documents on the entry plan

CraftMyPDF Lite includes 1,200 PDFs or images and 6 templates. A credit is CraftMyPDF's unit for the monthly allowance, and one PDF costs one credit whatever its page count. Zapier, Make.com and Bubble.io are listed on every CraftMyPDF plan, Free included.

CraftMyPDF also publishes an Airtable extension that saves generated PDFs into an attachment field, and it does not say which plan the extension needs. The page on how to generate a PDF from Airtable shows the steps. Documint's pricing page lists Airtable, Zapier, Make, Coda and REST API integrations.

APITemplate.io PDF Basic includes 3,000 PDFs and 20 templates. Its Billed Annually view shows $19 a month, which is a different billing basis, so it stays out of the table.

DocuGenerate, Docupilot and DocSpring: Word templates, e-signature and extra PDFs

DocuGenerate fits Word templates. It takes a template in DOCX, DOC, ODT, TXT or SQL format and fills it with data in JSON, XLSX, XLS, ODS or CSV format. Each document beyond the 500 on Plus costs $0.04.

Docupilot's e-signature add-on starts at $1.50 an envelope. Docupilot says you cannot generate documents once you reach 100% of your limit. DocSpring Starter charges 25 cents for each PDF beyond 50, and its plans include unlimited templates and users.

DocuGenerate and DocSpring publish a price for each extra document. CraftMyPDF publishes none, and it says it never upgrades a plan automatically.

Who should stay with Documint, and who should move

Documint's pricing card gives its 14-day trial to Silver, and its comparison row shows Gold and Platinum as not available. Its FAQ, though, says every new account gets 14 days with full access. It also offers a 14-day money-back guarantee and 5 e-sign envelopes a month on Silver. Its FAQ says it is not SOC2 compliant; CraftMyPDF says it completed a SOC 2 Type II audit.

CraftMyPDF has no time-limited trial of a paid plan and no money-back guarantee: its Free plan gives 50 PDFs or images a month and 3 templates with no credit card, and fees already charged are not refunded on canceling. CraftMyPDF vs Documint sets the two side by side, and the CraftMyPDF review covers its plans.

  • Stay with Documint for the 14-day money-back guarantee or the e-sign envelopes included in each plan.
  • Pick CraftMyPDF Lite for 1,200 PDFs or images at $29 a month from a drag-and-drop editor that needs no HTML or CSS.
  • Pick APITemplate.io for the largest entry allowance of the five, 3,000 PDFs at $24 a month.
  • Pick DocuGenerate for Word templates at $19, Docupilot for an e-signature add-on priced per envelope and DocSpring for a price on every extra PDF.
