CraftMyPDF free plan: 50 PDFs or images a month, 3 templates and no credit card

CraftMyPDF free plan: what you get each month

Yes, CraftMyPDF has a Free plan: 50 PDFs or images a month and 3 templates in total, with no credit card required to start, as read on October 10, 2026. It includes the drag-and-drop editor, the REST API and the Zapier, Make.com and Bubble.io integrations.

The 50 is a credit allowance. A credit is the unit CraftMyPDF counts against your monthly allowance: one PDF is one credit whatever its page count, and an e-signature request costs 10 credits.

What the CraftMyPDF free plan leaves out

Teams, your own AWS S3 storage and PDF passwords start on Professional, which is $99 a month, billed monthly. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA), the signed data-handling contract you request from CraftMyPDF, and listed email support start on Lite. The pricing table shows no support for Free, so plan without it.

The 50 credits are shared by PDFs, images and e-signature requests. At 10 credits each, 5 signed documents a month would use the whole Free allowance.

Can you try a CraftMyPDF paid plan before paying?

No. CraftMyPDF names no time-limited trial of a paid plan and no refund guarantee on its pricing page or its home page. The Free plan is how you try CraftMyPDF, and no credit card is required to start.

CraftMyPDF's refund answer says the Free plan is there so you can try the editor, the API and the integrations at no cost before you pay for a plan. Once you do pay, canceling does not refund fees already charged, and CraftMyPDF considers individual refund requests case by case.

When to move from the CraftMyPDF free plan to Lite

Move up when you need more than 50 documents a month or more than 3 templates. Lite, the first paid plan, is $29 a month on monthly billing and lifts the limits to 1,200 PDFs or images and 6 templates. Billed annually it is $290 a year, and CraftMyPDF says an annual plan saves up to 17%. Our CraftMyPDF pricing guide lists all six plans, and the CraftMyPDF review covers the product itself.

CraftMyPDF emails you when usage reaches 80% of the monthly credits and again at 100%, and says plans are never upgraded automatically. It publishes no per-document overage price, and its pages do not say what the API does once credits run out.

For more free documents, Doppio allows up to 400 a month on its free Basic plan, with 1 template and no credit card. DocuGenerate gives 20 documents a month and 2 templates with no credit card, and works from Word templates. Free PDF generation API compares more free tiers.
