A page break is an output behavior
The number of rows that fit depends on row height, text length, margins, fonts and other sections. There is no universal safe table length. Start with the intended paper size and a representative synthetic row, then add content until the layout crosses a page boundary. Record that observed case for this template only.
Look beyond a missing row
Check whether the table heading repeats where needed, whether a split row remains understandable and whether a footer covers content. Inspect the first and last line of each page. A report can contain every character but still be difficult to read because a heading appears alone at the bottom of a page.
Change one variable at a time
If a note pushes the table into an awkward break, first identify whether note height, row behavior or reserved footer space caused it. Preserve the failing sample before changing the layout. Then compare the revised output with neighboring cases. Do not claim the issue is fixed simply because the shortest sample now fits on one page.
Keep the stop rule visible
Hold output when text is clipped, a row cannot be followed or the end of the report is missing. Decide whether a manual exception is acceptable for an unusual approved case. Check the generator’s current documented controls; this guide does not promise any specific keep-together setting or universal CSS support.
Worked boundary record
Suppose your actual local evaluation finds a break between fictional rows TEST-017 and TEST-018. Save the exact input and output, then test neighboring lengths and a longer description on TEST-017. The numbers identify that observed template case only; they are not a recommendation that seventeen rows fit every design. Require readable continuation and the final row to remain present. If the boundary moves after a font change, rerun the relevant cases.
